About Us

For more than 35 years, South Cobb OB/GYN has grown to be a respected and well-known practice in our community. Our experienced and caring healthcare team is dedicated to delivering high quality medical care to women from adolescence through menopause. We offer medical care for most women’s health concerns, including general gynecologic care, reproductive endocrinology, urogynecology, and obstetrical care.
 
There is a fee for parking which is $3 for the first hour. We have a patient drop-off area available and we are accessible by Cobb County Transit.

Dr. Milele B. Francis received her BS in Biology from Spelman College, Atlanta, GA. After undergrad, she returned to her home state to attend medical school at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, she relocated to Hartford, CT for her residency in Ob-Gyn at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Francis enjoys preventative women’s health and education. Our phones are open between the hours of 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday and 8:30am to 3:00pm Friday.
 
We request 24 hour cancellation notice.
Directions
From I-285:Take the South Atlanta Road exit and go North/West approximately 1 mile, turn left at red light on to Cumberland Pkwy. The road will change names after you cross over South Cobb Dr. into East/West Connector go approximately 6 miles to the intersection of Austell Road,you should be in the far right lane turn right on to Austell Road. You should get into the left hand lane at the first red light, make a left on to Hospital South Drive. We relocated in the five-story physician's building on the left next to Wellstar Cobb Medical Center, 1700 Hospital South Drive. Suite 500.

Our doctors have privileges at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center.
Insurance and Payments
We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.

Wellstar Medical Group participates in most major insurance plans. For a complete list of insurance participants at this practice please call the practice main line. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan.

All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) with you to each appointment.

Prescription Refills
FOR CURRENT PATIENTS ONLY: If you would like to request a refill please contact your pharmacy and have them request it electronically. Please note that we will not approve any refills if you have not been seen for your annual visit within the previous 12 months.

Prescriptions will be filled within 72 hours as long as no office visit is required and no other information is necessary.
