About Milele Francis, MD
Dr. Milele B. Francis received her BS in Biology from Spelman College, Atlanta, GA. After undergrad, she returned to her home state to attend medical school at the University of Massachusetts School of Medicine. Upon completion of medical school, she relocated to Hartford, CT for her residency in Ob-Gyn at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Francis enjoys preventative women’s health and education. She is able to offer a wide range surgical and non-surgical options for treatment of women’s health issues. Dr. Francis is board certified in Ob Gyn and she is a Fellow in the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is also a member of the Medical Association of Georgia. Dr. Francis has been practicing at Wellstar South Cobb ObGyn since 2004.

This doctor is top notch. The location is even better because everything is in the same building.

What Dr. Francis did really well was be on time. What she can improve on is letting patients know about the routine exams or what she is doing. Following up with patients when their MyChart. Coming to their email and not having a patient have to call a week straight just to see what the results are. And letting a patient know that they're not getting their full STD panel or not lying about getting the full STD panel when they're asked. Instead of saying yes, saying that yes, but you could also go downstairs and get the blood work. Being more thorough with her information and not being rushed.

As a new patient I felt very welcome by Dr. Francis and the healthcare staff. She was very knowledgeable and listened to my concerns, I felt like she went over and beyond to make sure I received the best care and gave my great insightful information about mammograms, Peri-Menopause and other medical information.

Everything was great. I just wished with women that have a history of recurrent miscarriages, I wish they were able to get their ultrasound appointments done sooner than eight weeks. But everything else was great.
