Enhanced Visitation Guidelines

Wellstar has enhanced our visitor policy as part of our commitment to provide a safe environment.

All adult visitors at Wellstar hospitals must provide a photo ID and check in at the desk upon arrival. You will receive an identification badge that must be worn throughout your visit. If you see a visitor without a badge, please refer them to the check-in desk. Patients are not required to complete this process before receiving care.

In general, essential caregivers, or visitors, are permitted in most areas during regular visitation hours to promote healing for our patients. After designated hours, visitation will be limited to authorized support personnel in most cases.

Visitor Check-in Information

Wellstar medical centers are a safe space. All adult visitors must check in at the desk with photo ID and wear a visitor badge at all times.

The following photo IDs may be used for entry:

1. A state of Georgia driver's license, even if expired
2. Any valid state or federal government-issued photo ID
3. Valid employee photo ID from any government agency
4. Valid U.S. passport ID
5. Valid U.S. military photo ID
6. Valid tribal photo ID
