I never got a chance to see the doctor. I arrived 15 minutes early as I was told. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Then, when I asked the very kind receptionist how much longer it would be, she said it would be another 15 minutes until they called me back. I decided to cancel my appointment and reschedule. In all honesty, I will probably cancel my next appointment and find a new practice. The scheduling process has been extremely difficult since they only open for appointments for three months at a time. The spots fill up almost immediately. It took me months to get this appointment and was going to have to wait at least an hour to get called back. Every other practice allows me to make my annual exam a year in advance. I feel like I have to jump through hoops to make it happen at this practice. All my other Wellstar experiences have been excellent but this practice leaves me seriously disappointed and frustrated.

I waited over two hours to have two vials of blood taken after my appointment. That needs to be fixed. The amount of waiting for labs is pretty unaccessible.

As a new patient I felt very welcomed by the entire staff. They were very nice, helpful, and professional. Dr. Rao was great and I felt very comfortable talking to her and she was very thorough about my health and I feel secure about my upcoming procedure. Dr. Rao nurse Ashley was amazing. Ashley was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable. Overall, I felt very welcomed by the entire staff. I would definitely recommend this practice to my family and friends.

The doctor wasn't familiar with my case, she was asking me questions to things that are in my records because it was through that practice. She had a pre conceived notion on how she would proceed with me before even listening to what I had to say. She totally disregarded what I was asking her do due to her mind being made up on referring me out. I had to continue to give her information about my history and even after receiving that information she was set on the treatment she stated when she first walked in the room. She had no intentions to hear me out or to provide any treatment her only option from the time she walked in the room was to refer me out.

I stated that I wanted an annual exam and that I have not had a pap in over 10 years and nothing prompted the physician to do an exam. I had not been asked if I would like to try contraceptives, I wasn't ask any in detailed questions. My appointment lasted 5 minutes tops. A waste of money and a scam. I will NEVER use this OBGYN again.

I felt like a number not a person. It was like I was just another check off on a task list. I came in for blood work and a referred ultrasound to check for fibroids. I provided information because it seemed like the only questions necessary were do you eat well, exercise, and stress.... Not even one mention of why I was concerned or what brought me in here. I did not receive the referred ultrasound instead the Dr. wasn't going to recommend it but I was able to advocate for myself and she sat up ANOTHER appointment for it even thought I was supposed to receive it at this appointment. It was a discouraging experience but I pray for those who are going through serious issues when the Dr. determines they're "fine" just because they seem normal and things continue to go unnoticed or undiagnosed simply because a patient became a check list instead of a person. I know work is stressful and hospitals may not have a lot of assistance but patients pay A LOT even with insurance to be seen and provided with care. I feel like I received more information from a google search rather than my appointment. No talk of what fibroids even is how it could effect me, nothing. I won't go to the hospital if I don't have to and this is a large part of the reason.

I would suggest letting the patients know that a urine sample will be needed prior to any procedures being done. I urinated and washed up prior to my procedure only to be told that the procedure would not happen until I provided a urine sample, which took an additional 30 mins. Sitting in the office for 30mins waiting to pee was not apart of my plans that day.

It's unfortunate that there is not an ultrasound tech at this location. The scheduler offered an appt to the person in front of me next week, but offered me one 3 weeks out as it's somehow tied to the schedule of the ordering physician. This process seems flawed to me, and could result in delay of care. While it's not ordered stat, it's important to my health as a concerned patient. Overall, the level of service has been trending downhill.

I have an issue that no one wants to figure out. They just want to prescribe birth control pills. My issue isn't contraception. The provider said it could be my hormones but testing is too hard. I don't care if testing is hard, I am tired of bleeding for a month straight - that is hard. I wish someone would listen to my issues and if there isn't a quick solve, go on a journey with me to figure it out. Prescribe birth control isn't the issue. I've been to this practice a few times to a few different providers over the years and guess what, it is the same recommendation. So very disappointing. Improve women's healthcare please. Don't just birth control as a fix all for our problems. We deserve more.

I would suggest letting the patients know that a urine sample will be needed prior to any procedures being done. I urinated and washed up prior to my procedure only to be told that the procedure would not happen until I provided a urine sample, which took an additional 30 mins. Sitting in the office for 30mins waiting to pee was not apart of my plans that day.

I felt like a number not a person. It was like I was just another check off on a task list. I came in for blood work and a referred ultrasound to check for fibroids. I provided information because it seemed like the only questions necessary were do you eat well, exercise, and stress.... Not even one mention of why I was concerned or what brought me in here. I did not receive the referred ultrasound instead the Dr. wasn't going to recommend it but I was able to advocate for myself and she sat up ANOTHER appointment for it even thought I was supposed to receive it at this appointment. Dr. Rao was a great listener. I felt very comfortable explaining my concerns and she gave me the feedback that that was warranted at the time. The time that I went to the exam room to the time I left, it was like less than 30 minutes, basically in and out and I was very appreciative of that and I would like to say for you guys to keep up the good job because you're doing great and providing patient care.

I have an issue that no one wants to figure out. They just want to prescribe birth control pills. My issue isn't contraception. The provider said it could be my hormones but testing is too hard. I don't care if testing is hard, I am tired of bleeding for a month straight - that is hard. I wish someone would listen to my issues and if there isn't a quick solve, go on a journey with me to figure it out. Prescribe birth control isn't the issue. I've been to this practice a few times to a few different providers over the years and guess what, it is the same recommendation. So very disappointing. Improve women's healthcare please. Don't just birth control as a fix all for our problems. We deserve more.

It's unfortunate that there is not an ultrasound tech at this location. The scheduler offered an appt to the person in front of me next week, but offered me one 3 weeks out as it's somehow tied to the schedule of the ordering physician. This process seems flawed to me, and could result in delay of care. While it's not ordered stat, it's important to my health as a concerned patient. Overall, the level of service has been trending downhill.

Anytime you go to the doctors office and the staff is just kind you really appreciate sitting there waiting on a doctor kindness is everything to me and that staff had it all. Thank you so much for everything you did for me.

I would suggest letting the patients know that a urine sample will be needed prior to any procedures being done. I urinated and washed up prior to my procedure only to be told that the procedure would not happen until I provided a urine sample, which took an additional 30 mins. Sitting in the office for 30mins waiting to pee was not apart of my plans that day.

I felt like a number not a person. It was like I was just another check off on a task list. I came in for blood work and a referred ultrasound to check for fibroids. I provided information because it seemed like the only questions necessary were do you eat well, exercise, and stress.... Not even one mention of why I was concerned or what brought me in here. I did not receive the referred ultrasound instead the Dr. wasn't going to recommend it but I was able to advocate for myself and she sat up ANOTHER appointment for it even thought I was supposed to receive it at this appointment. It was a discouraging experience but I pray for those who are going through serious issues when the Dr. determines they're "fine" just because they seem normal and things continue to go unnoticed or undiagnosed simply because a patient became a check list instead of a person. I know work is stressful and hospitals may not have a lot of assistance but patients pay A LOT even with insurance to be seen and provided with care. I feel like I received more information from a google search rather than my appointment. No talk of what fibroids even is how it could effect me, nothing. I won't go to the hospital if I don't have to and this is a large part of the reason.

I stated that I wanted an annual exam and that I have not had a pap in over 10 years and nothing prompted the physician to do an exam. I had not been asked if I would like to try contraceptives, I wasn't ask any in detailed questions. My appointment lasted 5 minutes tops. A waste of money and a scam. I will NEVER use this OBGYN again.

The doctor wasn't familiar with my case, she was asking me questions to things that are in my records because it was through that practice. She had a pre conceived notion on how she would proceed with me before even listening to what I had to say. She totally disregarded what I was asking her do due to her mind being made up on referring me out. I had to continue to give her information about my history and even after receiving that information she was set on the treatment she stated when she first walked in the room. She had no intentions to hear me out or to provide any treatment her only option from the time she walked in the room was to refer me out.

As a new patient I felt very welcomed by the entire staff. They were very nice, helpful, and professional. Dr. Rao was great and I felt very comfortable talking to her and she was very thorough about my health and I feel secure about my upcoming procedure. Dr. Rao nurse Ashley was amazing. Ashley was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. She made me feel comfortable. Overall, I felt very welcomed by the entire staff. I would definitely recommend this practice to my family and friends.

I waited over two hours to have two vials of blood taken after my appointment. That needs to be fixed. The amount of waiting for labs is pretty unaccessible.

I never got a chance to see the doctor. I arrived 15 minutes early as I was told. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes. Then, when I asked the very kind receptionist how much longer it would be, she said it would be another 15 minutes until they called me back. I decided to cancel my appointment and reschedule. In all honesty, I will probably cancel my next appointment and find a new practice. The scheduling process has been extremely difficult since they only open for appointments for three months at a time. The spots fill up almost immediately. It took me months to get this appointment and was going to have to wait at least an hour to get called back. Every other practice allows me to make my annual exam a year in advance. I feel like I have to jump through hoops to make it happen at this practice. All my other Wellstar experiences have been excellent but this practice leaves me seriously disappointed and frustrated.
