Dr. Elsass is board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology.  She completed her undergraduate degree at Albright College in Reading, Penn., and graduated from medical school at MCP Hahnemann School of Medicine in Philadelphia.  She completed an internal medicine residency at Duke University in Durham, N.C., and a Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. During fellowship, she developed an great interest in general interventional cardiology and went on to complete an interventional cardiology fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. 

Prior to joining Wellstar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in 2009 as an interventional cardiologist, she practiced for two years as an interventional cardiologist in Columbia, S.C., where she implemented a program for percutaneous structural heart disease intervention at Palmetto Health Richland Memorial Hospital.  She also started a program for cardiovascular disease in women. Dr. Elsass is on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. 

Dr. Egoavil, a cardiac electrophysiologist, was born and raised in Chicago, Ill. He received two undergraduate degrees in microbiology and biochemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1994. He received a full scholarship to attend medical school at Loyola University Medical Center in 1998. After completing his internship and residency at Loyola University Medical Center, he completed his cardiology training at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center. He spent two years at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia completing his training in cardiac electrophysiology. Dr. Egoavil received a master’s degree in business administration from Emory University Goizueta Business School in May 2008. 

Dr. Egoavil is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Cardiac Electrophysiology. He is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm Society. He joined Wellstar Cardiovascular Medicine in July 2005. He performs all aspects of pacemaker, defibrillator and resynchronization device therapy. His areas of special interests include electrophysiology studies, catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias: including atrial fibrillation, pacemakers and defibrillators.

Dr Egoavil is currently performing electrophysiology procedures at Wellstar Cobb and Kennestone hospitals and is on staff at Wellstar Paulding hospital. He speaks Spanish fluently.

Dr. Sajja is board certified in internal medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and nuclear cardiology. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Sajja completed his internal medicine internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University and his residency at Drexel University. He also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at West Virginia University.

His special interests include coronary artery disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography.  Dr. Sajja joined Wellstar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in April 2009.  He is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.

Dr. Sajja is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology.  He is fluent in Telugu.
