About Osagie Okundaye, MD
Dr. Okundaye is board-certified in cardiovascular disease. He earned his medical degree and completed his internship at the University of Lagos in Nigeria. He completed his residency and a cardiology fellowship at Columbia University, Harlem Hospital along with a cardiology fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, Hahnemann University School of Medicine.
Dr. Okundaye’s special interests include cardiac imaging and coronary angiography.
He joined Wellstar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in November 2009 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. Dr. Okundaye is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.

The intake nurse was fantastic. She talked and was very friendly and explained to me about blood pressure and whatever. And Dr. Okundaye is very thorough, very patient relatable. And he explains everything. And he, you can tell he really cares about your health. I recommend this guy 100%.

Two days after my appointment, my pharmacy informed me they were working on my new prescription. I knew nothing about this prescription. It was never discussed at my appointment. But Dr. O is the prescriber. I do not appreciate more medication's without having the opportunity to discuss it. I will not be picking this up at my pharmacy.
