About Venu Sajja, MD
Dr. Sajja is board certified in internal medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and nuclear cardiology. He completed his undergraduate studies at Indiana University and earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine in Dominica, West Indies. Dr. Sajja completed his internal medicine internship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania-Hahnemann University and his residency at Drexel University. He also completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease at West Virginia University.
His special interests include coronary artery disease, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Sajja joined Wellstar Medical Group, Cardiovascular Medicine in April 2009. He is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.
Dr. Sajja is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiography and the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He is fluent in Telugu.

I recently had an appointment with Venu Sajja, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care I received. From the moment I walked in, the entire staff and all care providers were absolutely wonderful professional, attentive, and genuinely caring. Dr. Sajja took the time to listen, explain things clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable and informed throughout the visit. That kind of patient-focused approach is hard to find and very much appreciated. I truly wish all of my experiences with Wellstar were like the ones I've had in Acworth and Marietta, GA. The difference in care and professionalism at these locations really stands out. Overall, this was an excellent experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Sajja and the team to anyone looking for quality cardiology care.

She might be very good technically and administratively, but may be better suited for a position with minimal patient contact.
