Dr. McCune was born and raised in Atlanta. In June 1987, Dr. McCune received his undergraduate degree in biology from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge. He continued his education at the University of Alabama in Birmingham as part of the Medical Scientist Training Program where in June 1995 he received a Ph.D, in biochemistry and his medical degree one year later, in May 1996. Dr. McCune remained at the University of Alabama in Birmingham completing his internship and residency in internal medicine.

During his time at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, Dr. McCune was the recipient of numerous awards including: First Place, 25th Annual Medical Student Research Day (1988); First Place, Sigma Xi Graduate Student Research Day (1994); Best Graduate, Student Publication, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Genetics (1995); Third Place Award, Poster Presentation; Department of Medicine Trainee Research Symposium (1995).

In July 1999, Dr. McCune transferred to Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology.  Upon completion of his fellowship in June 2002, Dr. McCune joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C., in Marietta where he currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research.

Dr. McCune is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Klass was born in Tuttlingen, Germany.  In September 1989, she received her undergraduate degree at Ruhr Unversitaet in Bochum, Germany.  Dr. Klass subsequently received her M.D. at Eberhard Karls Universitaet in Tuebingen, Germany in June of 1994 and her Ph.D. in June of 1996.

In November 1996, Dr. Klass came to the United States to continue her studies in medicine as a Research Fellow in Cell Biology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. In August 2000, Dr. Klass transferred to Emory University, School of Medicine in Atlanta, where she completed her internal medicine residency and completed her Hematology and Medical Oncology fellowship at the Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University in August 2006.

Upon completion of her fellowship, Dr. Klass worked as a staff physician at the VA Medical Center in Atlanta.  In January  2007, Dr. Klass joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C., at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where she currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research.

Dr. Klass is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Osmon is a native of Argentina where in June 968 he received his medical degree at La Plata Medical School, University of La Plata in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Between July 1968 and June 1971, Dr. Osmon acted as junior and senior house physician in internal medicine at the Regional Hospital of Mar Del Plata in Buenos Aires.

In July 1971, Dr. Osmon came to the United States to continue his studies in medicine as an Oncology Research Fellow and Rotating Resident at Tufts Oncology Unit (Boston, Massachusetts) serving at Pondville Hospital in Walpole, Massachusetts. In July 1972, Dr. Osmon transferred as a junior and senior resident and teaching fellow in internal medicine to Brown University, School of Medicine primarily at Roger Williams General Hospital in Providence, R.I,

Dr. Osmon went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at Emory University, School of Medicine in Atlanta. Upon completion of his fellowship in June 1976, Dr. Osmon went into private practice now recognized as Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C., at Wellstar Cobb Hospital where he currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research as well.

Dr. Osmon has served as chairman of many committees at local hospitals including Wellstar Cobb and Wellstar Kennestone.  He is also a member of the American Medical Association, the ACP, the American Society of Hematology, and Cobb County Medical Society.

Dr. Osmon is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Oyola is a native of the country of Colombia where in 1990 he received his medical degree with honors at the Metropolitan University in Barranquilla, Colombia.  In July 1992, he came to the United States to continue his studies in medicine as a resident in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, University Hospital of the State University of New York in Brooklyn. Dr. Oyola went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

Upon completion of his fellowship in 2001, Dr. Oyola joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research as Co-PI for NGOC clinical trials.

Dr. Oyola is the past chairman Wellstar Health System Cancer Committee and Wellstar Cobb Hospital Credentials Committee. He is currently serving as part of the Wellstar Oncology Cabinet. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Cobb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia.

Dr. Oyola is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

Dr. Gould attended college at Penn State and received his medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, Penn. This school is one of the oldest medical colleges in the country and for years, provided the Southern states with the majority of their doctors.  After completing medical school in 1983, Dr. Gould finished two years of internal medicine training at the University of Texas Medical Branch and then completed his internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center.  He stayed on at Duke and completed a three-year fellowship in Hematology-Oncology. 

In 1990, he relocated to Marietta, Ga., where he has been in practice over 20 years.  Since, he has served as a staff physician at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital.  Other hospital responsibilities have included serving as Medical Director of Hospice, serving as Chairman of the Quality Review Committee, and participating on the Medical Care Evaluation Committee.  Dr. Gould treats all cancers that afflict adult patients and is active in clinical research. Currently, he also serves as the Medical Director of his 20 physician oncology practice.
