About Raul Oyola, MD
Dr. Oyola is a native of the country of Colombia where in 1990 he received his medical degree with honors at the Metropolitan University in Barranquilla, Colombia. In July 1992, he came to the United States to continue his studies in medicine as a resident in internal medicine at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital, University Hospital of the State University of New York in Brooklyn. Dr. Oyola went on to complete his fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.
Upon completion of his fellowship in 2001, Dr. Oyola joined Northwest Georgia Oncology Centers, P.C. at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital where he currently evaluates and treats patients while actively participating in Clinical Trials and Research as Co-PI for NGOC clinical trials.
Dr. Oyola is the past chairman Wellstar Health System Cancer Committee and Wellstar Cobb Hospital Credentials Committee. He is currently serving as part of the Wellstar Oncology Cabinet. He is also a member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, the Cobb County Medical Society and the Medical Association of Georgia.
Dr. Oyola is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology and Medical Oncology.

I've been coming to your location for years and no one knows what's wrong with me!!! Next, I took off of work at 9am to make sure I was on time for my 10am appointment. I finally saw the doctor at 11:15am and I was out of the room within minutes. I lost three hours of my life for a few minutes with the doctor.

I love my doctor and his staff that is not the problem. I always get there early thank God it took me 30 minutes to find a parking spot but I was still on time. Once inside the lab was 45 minutes behind schedule. They had 358 people they were seeing that day. I was an hour late getting upstairs to see my doctor. This is wrong the lab should not book so many people. Like I said once I got upstairs it only took 5 minutes for the doctor to see me. The doctor and his staff is wonderful.
