Dr. Patrick Hammen is a highly accomplished surgeon specializing in colon and rectal surgery. He offers expert care for patients aged 18 and older. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia, and completed his residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. Following this, he pursued advanced training with a fellowship at the University of Texas Health Science Center.

Dr. Hammen holds dual board certifications in General Surgery from the American Board of Surgery and in Colon and Rectal Surgery from the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. He is a distinguished Fellow of both the American College of Surgeons and the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons.

Dr. Hammen brings decades of expertise to his practice, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of colorectal conditions. His areas of specialization include:

Dr. Anushka Arumugasaamy is a colorectal surgeon who specializes in the surgical management of colon and rectal cancer, Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, and benign and malignant anorectal disease.

Dr. Arumugasaamy studied medicine for a simple reason—to improve people’s quality of life. From the beginning, she has enjoyed partnering with patients and creating personalized treatment plans for their unique health needs.

Dr. Arumugasaamy is board-certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon & Rectal Surgery.

Over the years, Dr. Arumugasaamy has diagnosed and treated a wide variety of pathologies in her field. Along with providing expert colorectal care, her long-lasting patient relationships are the most rewarding part of her work.
