Volunteering at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center is a commitment that not only helps others but is personally rewarding, too. On average, over 400 different individuals volunteer at Wellstar Kennestone and donate over 50,000 hours of service every year. Our volunteers range from high school students to adults in their 90s.

Volunteers are important members of the Wellstar team and make a big impact on the experience our patients and visitors have at Wellstar Kennestone. Volunteering provides you with the ability to make a difference in the lives of others, helps you gain experience in the healthcare setting, gives you the opportunity for special recognition throughout the year, and is a great way to network.
Volunteer Roles
Wellstar Kennestone offers a wide variety of volunteer assignments including greeting/wayfinding, gift shop sales, clerical support, activities assistant, transport/discharge, supporting clinical departments, cancer center, pet therapy, music therapy, Mended Hearts and much more!
