Dr. Mankan saved my life in 2021 when I had a blood clot from COVID. I have been a patient on a few occasions because I was having surgery and concern for my health e.g. blood clots. His entire staff is warm and knowledgeable about my concerns. Dr Mankan takes his time to explain my test results, what the implications are and how I can enrich my life. He takes his time and makes me feel comfortable and sees me as a person, not just a patient. I trust him with my care.

Waited too long...2-1/2 hours. Dr.Mankan apologized for that... One hour acceptable....not 2-1/2 hrs. All previous visits were ok.... So, maybe this was the exception.

Dr. Mankan is one of the most thorough and caring physicians I've ever encountered. He literally goes through every plan and process with you step by step sitting right next to you and will repeat the steps again so there's no confusion. He always asks if I have any questions and concerns and when I do he never rushes or seems annoyed. He greets me with a warm smile and handshake every time I see him. Just a breath of fresh air to have such a compassionate physician especially when you feel like your world is spinning out of control. So thankful for Dr. Mankan and his staff. My colleagues recommended him and I would without hesitation recommend him to everyone!

Dr Mankan is extremely thorough. He is truly one of the kindest most compassionate doctors that I know( and I'm a nurse of 36 years!) He genuinely cares about his patients and their overall health and wellbeing and spends quality time at each visit where he answers all yours questions and most of all he is totally present and focused on you( the patient) not what's next. His office got a little backed up?? He actually came out to the waiting room to check on people there to make certain everyone was okay. There was an older couple there( I believe she was one of his oncology patients and somehow she had mixed up her appointment dates... as busy as the office was that day, he still made time for her and didn't make her come back on another day. He saw her, drew her labs, and made certain she got the care she needed! None of us were upset in the least bc we all knew if that had been our oops! Dr Mankan would have done exactly the same for us!! He genuinely cares about people and gets that their time is just as valuable as his time( as least to them it is) Many of his patients are terminally ill... he treats each and everyone of us with the same compassion and respect that he'd expect for his own family bc that's just the kind of man he is! He even gave me at first a handshake at the end of our appointment and then he must have sensed that I was a hugger and gave me a Great Big Hug after my appt!! Thanks Dr Mankan I so appreciate you and the compassionate, empathetic care that you Always show your patients! You are nothing short of Amazing and I wish every doctor I worked with and saw had his very same bedside manner and knowledge base!!

I had a problem trying to get the appointment with my doctor. They always told me I had to see a nurse, so I had to cancel twice, and then I got to see the doctor. I really like the doctor, but when I go as far as I do, I like to see the doctor and not a nurse. I wish you had an office closer to me, but you know, I guess you don't. So I like to see the doctor when I come all the time. Thank you.

Just a breath of fresh air to have such a compassionate physician especially when you feel like your world is spinning out of control. So thankful for Dr. Mankan and his staff. Waited too long...2-1/2 hours. Dr.Mankan apologized for that... One hour acceptable....not 2-1/2 hrs. All previous visits were ok.... So, maybe this was the exception.

Dr. Mankan saved my life in 2021 when I had a blood clot from COVID. I have been a patient on a few occasions because I was having surgery and concern for my health e.g. blood clots. His entire staff is warm and knowledgeable about my concerns. Dr Mankan takes his time to explain my test results, what the implications are and how I can enrich my life. He takes his time and makes me feel comfortable and sees me as a person, not just a patient. I trust him with my care.

Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center Opens New Comprehensive Cancer Center
Wellstar Health System, one of Georgia’s largest and most integrated healthcare systems, announced the grand opening of the Wellstar North Fulton Cancer Center on the Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center campus in Roswell, Georgia on March 27. The Center will serve as one of only two locations in metro Atlanta featuring state-of-the-art CyberKnife® technology for radiation therapy, a noninvasive treatment for cancerous and non-cancerous tumors and other conditions where radiation therapy is needed.
The Cancer Center will now offer comprehensive cancer services, including medical oncology; radiation oncology; imaging and many medical specialties from nationally recognized, expert and experienced physicians all in one convenient location.
“With this beautiful new $12 million state-of-the-art Comprehensive Cancer Center, we can offer people in our community some of the most advanced cancer treatments close to home,” said Jon-Paul Croom, president of Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center. “People will be able to come to the 12,000-square-foot Wellstar North Fulton Cancer Center for almost all aspects of diagnosis, staging and treatment, with surgery across the way at the hospital.”
Wellstar team members and the Roswell community celebrated the official opening of the Cancer Center last week with a ribbon cutting ceremony following ten months of construction. Attendees had the opportunity to tour the facility and Wellstar’s second CyberKnife system, newly housed at the Cancer Center.
Wellstar first began using the CyberKnife System at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center in 2006 to treat conditions throughout the body and can be an alternative to surgery or for patients who have inoperable or surgically complex tumors. CyberKnife can reduce radiotherapy timelines from the traditional eight weeks to as little as one to five days.
“We are committed to providing the best treatment options for our patients and are proud to bring the CyberKnife system to this community,” said Dr. Mark McLaughlin, radiation oncology medical director for Wellstar North Fulton Medical Center. “With the state-of-the-art CyberKnife technology, we can deliver high precision radiation in fewer radiotherapy sessions with the goal of making treatment easier and improving outcomes for patients. We look forward to continuing to help patients beat cancer and celebrate their futures.”
