Went to see the provider for a consult as a referral from my PC. Provider was over an hour late. Had not viewed Pet Scan prior to appointment. Seemed unprepared for appointment.

I'm always so comfortable with Dr. OJ. She's very nice. The nurses and staff are very nice. I don't like wearing a bracelet. I feel like that makes me feel like I'm in a hospital. It makes me anxious. I'm not doing chemo, so I just wish we didn't have to wear the bracelet, but otherwise, it's a great experience.

I sat in the lobby 45 mins before I was checked in. I feel like my visit and injection was rushed. I was told I didn't have a lab order as a few times before just to be sent back yo the lab afterwards. Not very organized.

So, the phone call conference, the phone rang twice as I went to pick up my phone and swipe it over, she hung up. Like she didn't even fully call and let my phone ring to give me enough time to get from one room of my house to the other room where my phone was located, nor when I called back did anyone answer. Secondly, there's a whole lot of other things I can go into from an actual physical encounter with this doctor where she told me that she would not do any tests to see if I had any cancer in my body because of symptoms I am having and because of multiple people in my family, including my mother and father and older brother having cancer, which is a more of a risk, higher risk of having something that she even takes into consideration.

Every time I've ever visited this facility, this practice, everybody has been on their toes. All the check-in procedures and so forth have been done in a timely manner. My visit was on time. It was not dragged out for anything. I was able to get in and out as easily as possible. I appreciated the fact that all the folks that were working for Dr. OJ were efficient. She seemed to be ready for me as a patient when I came in. She had all my information as she should have before my appointment. I just couldn't say enough about her.

The doctor was supposed to call me about my situation and had a nurse instead who was not able to answer any questions. The nurse told me that I was fine and when I spoke to the doctor she is referring me to double check. The doctor is extremely knowledgeable but not really available to patient care with me. I have to constantly advocate for myself with this provider and her team.

Even though my diagnosis is terminal, she still came up with a plan to extend my time here while still being able to live my life to the fullest.
