What is Craniosynostosis?
With this condition, a baby's skull sutures close too early. This can restrict brain growth and development and raise cosmetic concerns. Hydrocephalus develops when there is either a disruption of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) flow or a problem with CSF absorption. This is a condition in which the back of the brain—the hindbrain—pokes through the base of the skull and into the spinal canal, the place where the spinal cord is located.
