Neuroradiology at Wellstar

Wellstar neuroradiologists focus on diagnosing conditions of the spine, neck, head, and central nervous system. They use medical equipment, such as computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines, to identify problems. We consult with treating physicians about the correct tests needed to diagnose patients who have symptoms of various neurological conditions.

After a diagnosis is confirmed, neuroradiologists can offer minimally invasive treatments for some neurological disorders. These can include brain aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and compression fractures of the spine.
