Office hours may vary per physician. To schedule an appointment please call our appointment line: (770) 644-1571. Our phones are open between the hours of 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM. For emergencies during our non-office hours, please call our answering service at (770) 429-2571.
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do so at least 48 business hours prior to your appointment.
As a courtesy, we have an automated system to call and leave you a message 2 days in advance to remind you of an appointment provided you have given us a current telephone number.
From I-75: Take Windy Hill Road exit (#260) and travel west toward Smyrna. At the second light take a left into Wellstar Windy Hill Hospital. Follow the driveway to the second stop sign and turn left into our parking circle. The blue and white Wellstar Psychiatry sign is in front of the automatic glass doors. We are the first door on the left.
We are committed to meeting your health care needs. Our goal is to keep your insurance or other financial arrangements as simple as possible.
Wellstar participates in most major insurance plans. We will file your insurance for you if we are a participating provider of your plan or as a courtesy for out-of-network plans.
Please contact your insurance carrier for your outpatient psychiatry benefits and if you need a prior authorization number.
All co-payments are due at the time of service. Please remember to bring your insurance card (HMO, CMO, PPO, etc.) and your prescription formulary with you to each appointment for medications covered under your insurance plan.
If you would like to request a prescription refill please contact your pharmacy and they will contact our office via fax. Please contact them several days in advance to allow several days to get your refill.
No refills are called in on the weekend. Prescriptions are written with enough refills to ensure you have enough medication until your next office follow-up.
Some medications can not be phoned into a pharmacy and these medications must be written at an appointment with your physician only.
Please contact our clinical line at (770) 644-1578. The clinical line can assist you with questions regarding your medications. We retrieve calls from the line Monday thru Friday until 2:00 PM.
