Wellstar Negotiating with Humana Medicare Advantage

We are pleased to announce that Wellstar has reached a new agreement with Humana Medicare Advantage, ensuring continuous in-network access to the local, high-quality Wellstar providers and hospitals our patients know and trust. The new contract prevents any gap in coverage, so we look forward to seeing our Humana Medicare Advantage patients at their next Wellstar appointment.

If you already selected your Medicare Advantage plan for 2025, Medicare allows a one-time change during the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period from January 1, 2025 – March 31, 2025. During this time, you may switch to another Medicare Advantage plan regardless of your selection during the Annual Open Enrollment Period. Your coverage with the new plan will start the first of the month after the plan gets your request.
