If your current Wellstar physicians are important to you, you may not be able to see these providers at in-network rates in 2022 with UnitedHealthcare. We value you as a patient and if you would like to continue to receive in-network care from Wellstar after December 31, you can choose to enroll in another plan where Wellstar physicians and facilities are in-network providers.

State Health Benefit Plan (SHBP) Retirees UHC Medicare Advantage Plan

Wellstar has negotiated an extension of our contract with UnitedHealthcare through December 31, 2021, for our existing SHBP Retirees Medicare Advantage Plan by UnitedHealthcare members for in-network coverage through the end of the year. Wellstar physicians and hospitals will remain in-network through this date for SHBP retiree members with UnitedHealthcare. 

UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage Plans

Wellstar was able to negotiate an extension of our contract with UnitedHealthcare through December 31, 2021, for our existing UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members. Wellstar physicians and hospitals will remain in-network through this date for UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage members.
