Perinatal Infant Loss Love and Remembrance (PILLAR) program and is here to offer care and support throughout your bereavement journey. No parent should suffer the loss of a baby alone. We are here to validate each child’s life and to offer care and support throughout your bereavement journey. Additionally we offer:
- Resource folders and memory boxes with keepsakes collected throughout the course of care
- Bereavement photography
- Monthly in-person and virtual support group
- Follow-up mailings
- Celebration of Life memorial events
- Staff education and training

Wellstar hosts a
Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Group taking place in person on the second Tuesday of each month from 6:00-7:00 PM at Wellstar Kennestone Regional Medical Center, and also virtually on the first Tuesday of each month from 11:30 AM-12:30 PM.

Journey Through Bereavement
Wellstar Health System partners with
Journey Through Bereavement (JTB)
to offer perinatal palliative care to families who receive a life-limiting diagnosis during their pregnancy. Our goal is for the families in our program to look back on their child's birth with a sense of joy and contentment based on the knowledge that they were able to make the most of the time that they had together.
