Dr. William “Kevin” Broyles is a Wellstar family medicine physician who specializes in urgent care medicine, health promotion and disease prevention.
While attending medical school, Dr. Broyles chose to focus on family medicine for a simple reason: to help people. He made it his mission to serve patients of all ages and learn about common diseases and illnesses they face.

Everything was great. My only issue is there was only one doctor in the office and a lot of patients. I was in the facility for a total of 2 hours. Very long wait time, due to short staff.

Didn't under stand why if it said walk in but you had to get a appointment. And then have to come back. Not every lives around the corner. A man came in I Heard the lady at the front desk say we have no appointments for today no appointments till tomorrow. This was at 2 pm they don't Close till 730pm. When I can it they was 1 other Patient there. They was only 2 patients there when she told the man that so I'm assuming that everybody has to have an appointment. When I first came in they was more patience than that at leaven o'clock but when I come back at 2 o'clock the place is about empty and when I left there wasn't anybody sitting in the waiting room. The place has really changed since they moved. When I asked the nurse why are we having to go by appointments when it says walkins and she said well we don't like the patience to get anxious and upset if they have a long time waiting in the waiting room. THEN DONT WALK-IN. And what I was thinking if I need to see a dr at this urgent Care don't come to this place after say after 12 at lunch time. I guess after a certain time must be appointment only. Urgent care to me means I can't wait to the next day like when I am in pain. Urgent care to means to me same day. So is urgent care to become like doctors offices primary physicians appointments only. This is the new practice I think people are to be aware ahead of time.

Do I Really Need an Antibiotic?
Antibiotics save lives by effectively treating bacterial infections, but they are ineffective against viral infections. Viral infections like colds, flu, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) or COVID-19 may require antiviral medications. However, if you’re diagnosed with an infection that has been caused by bacteria, such as strep throat or a urinary tract infection, an antibiotic can clear up the infection and help you feel better. Some bacterial infections can resolve without antibiotics, and your provider will work with you to determine your treatment plan.
While antibiotics are effective in treating bacterial infections, it’s important that you don’t take them if you don’t need them.
