Walter Astorne, MD

Dr. Walter Astorne received his medical degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI. He completed his nephrology and critical care fellowships at the Mayo School of Graduate Medical Education.

Dr. Astorne is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Nephrology, and the American Board of Critical Care. He is a member ofthe American College of Physicians, the American Society of Nephrology, the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, and the American Thoracic Society

Dr. Astorne is currently in practice with Wellstar Medical Group Intensivists.
