Everyone I met today was excellent: the staff who checked me in and out, the lab tech, my nurse, my PA and their student NP who was observing. Everyone was kind and attentive. I honestly have had a lot of really negative experiences with the medical system, and I have never felt as comfortable or welcomed as I did today. I am very grateful to all the staff.

A nurse knocked on the door a few minutes into my appt, which I had already waited about 35 minutes for. She told Tim the PA that a patient that came in the day before was here for her follow up appt, and that she'd have to leave soon for work (a bus route). She couldn't wait much longer. I feel like this news rushed my own appt, and the PA even said at one point "well if that's all, I have this one chomping at the bit". It wasn't my fault my appointment had started late, and then I feel like it was rushed, which was really unfortunate because I had driven a distance to come see the PA specifically as I'd liked seeing him before at a previous location.

This is a message about my experience with physician assistant Timothy Hatt. It was probably the best experience I have had with a medical provider. He was thoughtful, attentive. He actually engaged and I felt in dialogue with me about questions that I had about some of the lab results that I had. I really felt like it was a conversation and a partnership around my health and I really, really appreciated the time and the care that he took as well as the resources that he shared after the visit. So, very, very happy. I wish more doctors and physicians were like him.
