About Timothy Brock, MD
Dr. Brock received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia, where he majored in biochemistry and molecular biology and earned his medical degree from the Georgia Regents University, formerly known as the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency and fellowship in surgical critical care at Palmetto Health/University of South Carolina School of Medicine in general surgery.
Dr. Brock is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American Medical Association. Dr. Brock is in practice with Wellstar Medical Group, Douglas Surgical Associates.

I've never been in a hospital before, but my experience from other people has always been bad, but I can't say nothing wrong about this hospital. Everything's been perfect since I've been in there. So I give them a hundred on everything. I have no problem putting them to work, actually they help me with everything. They help me with everything I've done.

I consider Dr Brock my surgeon now and for whatever I need in the future. The office staff were friendly and most helpful during our visit. Great team of people.

I can't express the care and concern for me given by every staff member I came in contact with. This group is absolutely amazing from check in to check out and everyone in between. My Dr who I had just met today listened to every concern and addressed them all in terms I can understand. They come with my highest recommendation. If you need a GI surgeon I would ask to see Dr. Timothy Brock and his care team.

Honestly I was told by a couple other medical professionals that I needed to have gallbladder surgery and at todays visit, this doctor said there was no justification for the surgery and that really upset me.

From check in to check out experience was great. Dr Brock explained everything and did not rush through my visit. The nurse that brought me back to exam room ( I'm sorry but I don't remember her name ?) & his surgery scheduler Cindy were both very professional !

The gentleman in the golf cart was very helpful bringing and show me where to go on the way in. It also helped me find my car when leaving. Very customer service orientated thank you.
