About Tanya Nikolova, MD

Dr. Tanya Nikolova received her medical degree from the Medical University of Sofia in Sofia, Bulgaria. She completed her internal medicine residency with the Medical University of Sofia in Bulgaria and at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, N.Y. Dr. Nikolova completed her fellowship in pain and palliative care at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, N.Y.

Dr. Nikolova is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in hospice and palliative medicine and the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Dr. Nikolova currently is in practice with Wellstar Palliative Medicine.
