I was so impressed with TANNISHA SIMMONS. I was a new patient and was little nervous switching to a new doctor, but she addressed all my issues. She has a wonderful bedside manner. I was also very impressed with the staff at WellStar overall. I will be returning for sure.

i sat on my lap top for a virtual appt for over a hour , i finally disconnected

I thought I would get a breast exam, but Ms. Simmons said Medicare would not pay for that. I read in Medicare Book that it would pay for breast exam once every two years. I had one last year. However, my insurance covers a complete medical exam and that is what I wanted, but, also i did say Medicare Physical. In my opinion, the Medical Physical is worthless. All they do do is ask a lot of questions about your wellbeing, no physical exam at all. So I won't make that mistake again. Also, she gave me prescriptions for 90 days, refillable only once. I needed refills for a year. Now, I'll have to call to get those refills. None of them were opioids, mostly just maintenance drugs. Ms. Simmons mentioned to me about a drug to counteract the drugs in statins to help take away leg cramps, but she did not say any more about it. I would have like to known that medication. She was very nice, cordial and listened to my issues.

I, from the moment I walked in, from the front desk staff to my physician, and everybody was pretty good. Everybody was really good. I felt very safe talking to my physician, being able to share all of my health questions and get the answers that I needed, and even the follow-up advice and instructions that she gave me, I felt pretty good and secure with the knowledge that she shared with me.
