About Stephen Cox, DO
Dr. Cox's educational background includes undergraduate and graduate degrees in Physics from The University of Georgia, where he also participated in the thriving Athens music scene. He earned a doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from PCOM Georgia - the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine branch campus at Suwannee, GA. Finally, he completed three years at Atlanta Medical Center's Family Medicine Residency Program.
Professionally, Dr. Cox maintains membership with the American Academy of Family Physicians, which has been his primary source of continuing medical education since graduating from residency.
Personally, Dr. Cox and his wife Rubina, who is also a family doc, live in Alpharetta. They are blissfully busy with their two children, Julie and Ethan. They spend their time in various sport and music lessons and try to live a happy and full life.

We are alll Humans Having different day from each other Good and bad..... End of the day Dr Cox is most respectful , knowledgeable and concerned about his patient and I go and switch to the wellstar from Northside because of Dr Cox happy to have him. As my devoted and knowledgeable physician.

The whole world is used to going to your doctor at your appointment time and waiting an extra hour. Every time I've gone to Dr Cox, I'm always brought to the back within 5 minutes. He always talks to me eye to eye and asks the important questions. I will keep Dr Cox as my doctor from here on out.

The office staff is also efficient and friendly, making scheduling and follow-up appointments smooth. I feel fortunate to have found such a dedicated and caring physician. The lady from the blood test is amazing. I did not feel ANY ANY pain from the needle. I am really impressed with her work !!

Thank you for this opportunity to share. I know Dr. Cox is my lifeline. I am not in good health. Ranging from neuropathy to heart failure. I have several specialists. Each are focused on a very specific specialty. Dr. Cox is the only Doctor who puts all the pieces from all other 9 doctors forming a full complete picture of my overall health. Dr Cox is so thorough always answering questions with kindness and patience. I truly believe if it weren't for Dr. Cox I may not be alive today. Dr. Cox has identified specific issues that my specialists did not identify, such as fractured spine, issues found with my lower spine, obstructed bile gland along with cognitive issues I am experiencing. If anyone is searching for a PCP I would hope for you the opportunity to partner with Dr Cox in your overall health.
