Dr. Stephanie Wang, a Cardiac Electrophysiologist, is an Atlanta native proud to return home and serve her community as part of the Wellstar Cardiology Team. She earned her Undergraduate Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and her medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She did her Internal Medicine Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital.
Dr. Wang then went on to complete fellowships in both Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Emory University School of Medicine. Prior to joining Wellstar, she practiced in Madison, Wisconsin, where she treated a wide range of Arrhythmias and performed advanced Electrophysiology procedures, including Catheter Ablations and Device Implantations.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Dr. Wang is fully trained in complex comprehensive Electrophysiology care. Her clinical interests include Atrial Fibrillation, including Concomitant Ablation and Watchman Implant, Pacemaker and Defibrillator Therapy, and Long-Term Rhythm Management.
Outside of work, Dr. Wang and her husband Mircea, an Interventional Radiologist, enjoy traveling internationally, music and culture immersions, and exercising. She’s thrilled to be back in Atlanta and looks forward to building long-term relationships with patients in the community she’s always called home!
