I have been searching for a new primary care doctor for several months. After researching, I decided to make an appointment with Shogofa Halimi. She was friendly, listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I look forward to scheduling my complete physical with her. The lab technician was excellent. No pain and put me at ease for the blood draw.

The NP focused on one symptom, ruled that out and ignored my overall concern. I left with more questions than answers. She said my urine was clear but there was trace blood. In a female that does not menstruate. Overall I was disappointed.

This was the first time I saw Shogofa Halimi. She was very caring and truly wanted to make sure I received treatment to help me feel better. I had a bad upper respiratory infection that was probably viral but it was causing me a lot of distress from the coughing. She gave me prescriptions for an antibiotic, steroid and two different cough medicines (one to take during the day and one for night). She also recommended starting on routine zinc and vitamin C to boost my immunity. I appreciated the concern she showed knowing how sick I felt. The medicine is already making a big difference.

She was a great, great provider, and if my primary care is unavailable with Dr. Smallwood, then I will definitely be seeing Shogofa. She's amazing. Also all the upfront staff is great as well.
