Sara Healy, MD

Dr. Healy completed her undergraduate education at Duke University with a major in biomedical engineering. She received her medical degree from Medical College of Georgia, followed by a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in diabetes, endocrinology and metabolism from The Ohio State University. She also obtained a master’s degree from Ohio State. She worked in clinical practice before joining the faculty at Augusta University. Dr. Healy enjoys all aspects of general endocrinology including diabetes, thyroid disorders and thyroid cancer, calcium disorders and adrenal/pituitary disorders. She has particular interests in diabetes management and diabetes technology.
