The staff was ignorant about what my Doctor said to do. I'm supposed to be in a boot and brace and they made me walk barefooted from my exam room to the X-ray room and back. I'm not even kidding and when I agreed to go to X-RAY and back then Dr Fitz said weight bearing on surgical side is with a boot..!!?? Totally a different experience than I have always had confidence and security just knowing I was at Wellstar!!! Am my medical team and issues are always available for your review via My CHART

Doctor was very welcoming. But office staff was aloof and standoffish. It would help process patients with 12:45p and 1:00p appts if someone returned to front reception before 1, when they all take lunch, to take copays

The front office person was more concerned about what was on his phone than greeting me and barely spoke. The entire team was highly impersonal. The woman who walked in to take my blood pressure never said a word to me. Simply took my arm and put the cuff and oxygen sensor on and walked out of the room. She apparently had come in to assist the other woman taking a half hearted health history. I am disgusted at the way some staff are unprofessional and give off the sense that they do not care

When u break u foot u dont ask people to wait 3 weeks to see a dr , when u actually see the doctor he just look at ur old x ray and tell u to go back 6 weeks from now . Waist of my time and insurance money .... And first few worlds off dr mouth is surgery .... After making me wait 3 weeks to see me he suggest surgery if that was the case why not see me within a few days ... i dont have a cronic problem i broke my foot expected to have the attention need it for a broken foot . Now my foot feels much better 3 weeks later and he want surgery most definally will look for other dr not witting wellstar !

Overall had no problems with the Wellstar system. The provider that saw me, although knowledgeable, was not very personable to me. I did not feel I could develop trust with him as a patient. So I won't continue to see him.
