About Ravi Edupuganti, MD
Dr. Edupuganti received his biology degree from Baylor University in Waco, TX, and medical degree from University of Texas in Galveston. He completed his internship and residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and his cardiology fellowship at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Edupuganti is a member of the American College of Cardiology, is board-certified in cardiovascular medicine. He is passionate about patient education and engagement. His special clinical interests include general and preventive cardiology, echo and nuclear cardiology, and pregnancy and heart disease.

Appointment was at 7:45 am. I was at the front desk at 7:30 am. No one was there at the front desk. I waited there and started to get concern it was past 8:00 am and still nobody was at the desk. Some lady "nurse" came out from the inside offices, and I asked her about if anyone was supposed to be at the front desk. She went back inside, I believe she spoke to some one there; it was then that a lady came out and registered me for the visit with Ravi Edupuganti.

Johnny “Bow” Matthews was preparing for bed when he felt a tightness in his chest he just couldn’t shake.
He tried to sleep, but chest pains wouldn’t let him drift off. He attempted to wake his wife, Deidra, but she wouldn’t budge.
The mother of two had been up and about all day, from preparing breakfast early in the morning to putting the kids in bed after dinner.
“I told her, ‘Hey, something’s wrong,’ but she was sleeping too deeply and wasn’t comprehending.”
Bow couldn’t afford to wait. As the pain and discomfort worsened, he dressed and drove to the emergency department at Wellstar Cobb Medical Center.
Most people can’t wait to leave the hospital. Deidra and Bow Matthews, however, weren’t quite ready on their discharge day.
Deidra had just delivered Chase, a beautiful girl. Holding that tiny, fragile baby in their arms, both new parents felt nervous about what to do next. But the nursing staff at Wellstar Cobb Hospital surrounded them with unfailing support and helped the Matthews family gain more confidence in holding, feeding and swaddling their new bundle of joy.
