About Paul Guichard, DO
A native of California, Dr. Guichard graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a major in biochemistry and cell biology. He received his medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He completed his residency and both general cardiology and interventional fellowships at the University of Cincinnati. Dr Guichard was also on faculty at the University of Cincinnati as a Clinical Instructor.
He is board certified in both cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. Special interests include acute coronary syndromes, heart failure, and preventative cardiology. Dr Guichard is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is on staff at Wellstar Kennestone hospital.

As always, my experience in this office and the other Wellstar practices where I receive care is exceptional. I ALWAYS thank all the personnel for their care, and when possible, I tell them how important it is to patients to feel cared for. It is more than tests, heart and BP monitors, probes, or Rxs. I think it is so important that caregivers help me feel cared for both mentally and emotionally as well as accessing and treating my physical medical needs. Please never let the clinic and hospital staff lose sight of, what I consider an essential element of patient care. Thank you for your care!

Not enough time to discuss optimum health and how to achieve it after suffering the issue I had. The only solution from Wellstar's medical staff are to take drugs and follow the standard American low-fat diet which has been shown to be not a healthy road to follow. I suppose it will take years to (maybe decades) to change the current mindset.
