Dr. Nithi S. Anand is a board-certified neurologist who specializes in general neurology and headache medicine. He has been part of Wellstar Medical Group since 2006.
Dr. Anand pursued medicine at a young age to serve others by becoming their health advocate and listening to their concerns with empathy. While earning his medical degree from the University of Madras in Chennai (India), Dr. Anand found himself drawn to the challenges of the neurology specialty.
Following his passion for the field, Dr. Anand completed his residency and fellowship at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, studying alongside expert neurologists. Dr. Anand is board-certified by the American Board of Neurology, with added qualification in Headache Medicine (UCNS).
With over 22 years of experience, he currently leads the headache center at Wellstar Neurology & Headache Center in Marietta, Georgia. He is also a diplomat of the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons and a member of both the American Academy of Neurology and the American Headache Society.
Every day, Dr. Anand dedicates his time treating and giving hope to patients experiencing neurological and headache issues, with the goal of helping patients heal and live their healthiest lives.
