Unfortunately for us and all of Dr. Townsend's patients, he is retiring. He is the only one in the practice that actually found the source of my problem and has prescribed medication to keep me well. I cannot say enough about what a good dr. he is and the loss we feel to see him leave. I can only hope others will do as good with me and his patients in the future. He has a wonderful bedside manner, considerate, personable all the time delving in to the conditions that bring his patients in for help. I hope he was recognized for his excellent work at Wellstar.
