Muhammad Pervaiz, MD

Dr. Pervaiz received his medical degree from Hamdard College of Medicine & Dentistry in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his residency at New York Medical College, Valhalla, N.Y.

Dr. Pervaiz completed a fellowship in clinical genetics at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He also completed a fellowship in clinical biochemical genetics at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.

Dr. Pervaiz is board certified in internal medicine, clinical genetics and clinical biochemical genetics. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and Fellow of American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics. He also served as Chair of the Georgia Newborn Screen Advisory Committee from 2012 - 2014.
