Dr. Javaid was very thorough, very professional, and very personable at the same time. I had a new patient appointment. I am very satisfied with my diagnosis. I think he listened very well. He provided great feedback, and the diagnosis was very much on point with the symptoms that I was experiencing. He sat down with my husband and myself within a reasonable time, but still we felt as though he was very thorough and took his time with making sure we were comfortable with what was going on with me. So, yes, I definitely will recommend Dr. Javaid for anyone that needs a rheumatologist, and I'm looking forward to my next visit so that we're able to stay on top of my condition and then work for a better and healthier life for myself. The lab time for blood work was largely misquoted by those in the lab area. I was told at most 30 minutes but it turned out to be a hour and a half. I would have scheduled an appointment instead as I needed to get back to work.

The front staff was somewhat matter of fact; not a lot of compassion. Felt like I was a number trying to be rushed away. The back office staff was much better which improved my first impression. I did feel as though Dr. Javaid listened to my concerns well and asked great questions which improved my confidence. However, we are in the very early stages of finding out next steps. With more time and plans, I hope will continue to boost my complete confidence. I've been going through this discovery phase of ruling out starting with worst case scenarios first for about 6 months. I think the most difficult part of all of the is the bureaucratic red tape of health insurance vs healthcare and I can't find out what's going on with my body without a huge expense of a lot of different medical providers. Seems medical care is big business.

My experience with Wellstar was very positive, particularly when comparing it with other providers. The facility was clean, modern, and welcoming. I visited the rheumatology center as a new patient and was referred to the lab and radiology center as part of my visit. The staff was friendly, and my wait time was reasonable, especially for being referred the day of my appointment. My rheumatologist, Dr. Javaid was friendly and very professional and dedicated to helping me with a diagnosis. We will be following up next month, and I am very confident that he will work with me to improve my health.
