About Mindy Gentry, MD
In 2007, she became an assistant professor of medicine and the medical director for both the Women’s Cardiovascular Disease program and the Cardiac Rehabilitation program at the Medical College of Georgia. Her special interests include cardiac imaging, women and heart disease, and heart disease during pregnancy.
Dr. Gentry joined Wellstar in October 2010 and is currently on staff at Wellstar Kennestone Hospital. She is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography.
Dr. Gentry is married and the proud parent of three daughters. Her hobbies include traveling, exercising and playing golf.

I left the office feeling satisfied that I had a profitable encounter and all issues I brought up were resolved.I am thankful for good drs like Dr Gentry who consider patient needs and concerns important.

The red headed woman up front, sorry I didn't catch her name, went above and beyond for me. I needed to schedule a stress test, but she couldn't find the order. She went back and forth several times to make sure it was in the system and even brought out a manager. She could have just as easily told me to call back to schedule it. I was really amazed at her exceptional customer service. She deserves a raise. The MA Key let me weigh backwards so I wouldn't see the number. As a female that has struggled with obesity and anorexia, yes that exists, I appreciated her willingness to accommodate me. She was so kind. Dr. Gentry is always very warm and never makes me worry. She explains everything and makes you feel cared for. This practice is superior from front to back. Congratulations Wellstar you have a real winner.
