We have had the privilege of working with Mary Long for several years. We followed her when she moved from Austell, to Douglasville, then to Smyrna Vinings, where she currently works. Mary is kind hearted, has a gentle bedside manner, is thoughtful, and thorough. We are so grateful to be able to call her our nurse practitioner; all medical offices need a Mary! Thank you.

My nurse practitioner was very informative, kind, explained the details of the questions I had in regards to referrals, and just was very patient with my care. Also, the nurse before her was very patient and kind, and the hospitality was phenomenal, welcoming me in the room, getting me out on time so I could get to work because I'm a soldier in the Army, and I just greatly appreciate the support from Wellstar.

there needs to be a policy change regarding refilling critical medications. i had to cancel my annual appointment (family emergency that i had to leave town)and reschedule for a later date. My prescription was not refilled due to my annual cancellation.this left me without medication for several days. i asked for a month supply which would have been long enough until my next appointment. This was also DENIED. This added additional stress to my situation., worried about missing my daily medication.wellstar core value of serve with compassion and pursue excellence was lacking when it come to this practice

I scheduled my follow up in 4 week with her and when asked by the receptionist ., "How was my visit ?" I said Great! I pray the steps were taking and suggested home care works for me.

When I left the office after the consultation with NP Mary Long, a number of referrals in hand, I had the distinct feeling of being in good hands with Wellstar. She and her assistant, and everyone I came into contact with at the center that day, turned this initially dreaded visit into a positive experience. PS -- As to my answer to the question about handwashing by the staff, that answer is approximate. They did, and it seemed routine, but I wasn't watching like a hawk.
