Dr. Gearhard earned her Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Florida in Gainesville, and completed her residency at the Phoenix Baptist Family Practice in Arizona. Prior to joining Wellstar Cobb Family Medicine, she worked in urgent care, occupational medicine and fast-track emergency room settings. She was recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance's (NCQA) Bridges to Excellence program for her quality diabetes care and management.
