Marla Franks, MD

Dr. Franks' special clinical interests are laboratory hematology and hematopathology. She earned her Doctorate of Medicine from The Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. She completed her residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and a fellowship in hematopathology at Emory University School of Medicine and affiliated hospitals in Atlanta. Memberships include the American Medical Association, American Society for Clinical Pathology, Society of Hematology, College of American Pathologist, American Board of Pathology, United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology, and the Medical Association of Georgia. Her hobbies include a cappella choral performance and travel.
