About Li Liu, MD
Dr. Li Liu received his medical degree from Tianjin Medical University and his Ph.D. in Neuroscience from The University of Eastern Finland.
He completed his neurology residency and clinical neurophysiology fellowship at The State University of New York, Downstate Medical Center, New York. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
Dr. Liu is currently in practice with WellStar Neurology and Headache Center.
Prior to his neurology residency, Dr. Liu worked as a research fellow at The Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain, Columbia University Medical Center, New York. His research on the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease and related neurodegenerative diseases led to a total of 21 research publications, including articles published in highly prestigious journals, such as Nature Neuroscience, and Nature Communication. In 2009, Dr. Liu received New Investigator Award from The Alzheimer’s Association

The nurse explained every thing to my husband the dues and don't and I like that and the doctor excellent. And we will be back in four months thank you all

Fine visit but front desk failed to notify back office that pt. was there. So waited awhile. But was quick to remedy. My husband had fallen asleep and was a little wobbly and BP low. Nurse was great with him. My daughter was with him and related this to me.
