About Keith Rott, MD
Dr. Rott was introduced to rheumatology at an early age when a sibling was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis. He enjoys working with patients to understand their diagnosis and their treatment so they can achieve the best possible outcome. He enjoys staying up to date with the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic diseases, but still believes in the value of listening to the patient and obtaining a complete history and performing a thorough exam in order to establish the proper diagnosis. He treats a full range of rheumatologic conditions, including all types of inflammatory arthritis such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic autoimmune diseases such as lupus, crystalline arthropathies such as gout, inflammatory muscle diseases, vasculitis, and osteoporosis.
A native of Florida, Dr. Rott has lived in Georgia since moving to Atlanta to attend Emory College. He is board certified in rheumatology. He is a past president of the Georgia Society of Rheumatology and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. When not in the office, he enjoys reading, any outdoor activity, and spending time with his wife, son, and 2 dogs.

The care and service that I received at Royal Star Rheumatology was excellent. The staff was attentive. The doctor pretty much explained everything to me in regards to my care. It is refreshing to have a doctor actually make you feel as if you matter and go over multiple options to address your medical issues. So Royal Star, I have to say, I would give a 10 out of 10 star. Excellent service. Staff, they were professional. The doctor was very, very knowledgeable, professional. I can't say enough, but I am happy to be served by the staff and the medical doctors at Royal Star Rheumatology and at Royal Star Medical Center.

I moved to Alabama and have found new doctors there with one exception. I drive back to GA for my rheumatologist Dr Rott. I do that because he is worth it. I think he's the best.

I have been very pleased with my treatment at this facility. In the past, the wait for labs was terrible, BUT they were MUCH IMPROVED during this visit. I believe they have a new computer system or something that was a little challenging for the staff, but they quickly worked through it with a smile on their face, and promptly got us handled. Great experience in the whole facility today!
