Everyone is very kind and attentive. Besides the usual feeling I get everywhere where the Dr. HAS TO say things and work on the computer a LOT during the visit which takes away the personal touch that she shows so well with the little time she has with me, I really appreciate Dr. M and believe that she is truly doing what is best for me. I trust in her and her team. I don't say this lightly as I distrust Dr's and have had to spend countless amount of time finding the correct ones. I know that I HAVE found the correct one in Dr. M and have and will recommend her!

The staff went above & beyond to figure out how to print my LabCorp. orders so that I could have hardcopy lab orders. In the past when I have relied on "it's in the system" was not the case. It seems that every time a software upgrade is installed the folks don't seem to have sufficient training to assist the patient. The did a great job, now I have to call to Wellstar Urology to get my husband's lab orders.

I think listening to the patient and what their immediate health concerns are should be top priority, at the very least what is addressed first. The compassionate doctor I have believed my primary to be now comes off to me as lip service - it has seemed to me the last couple visits have been a specific agenda and I was just a human who has insurance that can pay. The question for me is with the amount of time allotted for the appointment is it corporate telling dr's to push all these tests in the guise of taking care ofthe patient. Because I had specific medical needs that not only were not addressed but brushed off - what I needed didn't matter because it didn't fit with the plan of care that I feel was set before the doctor walked in the door, so kudo's the dr is drinking the corporate cool-aid but I am not anymore.

The teacher just had a couple of minutes to go over a few situations in detail, like if your arms were bothering you, kind of explain the situation a little bit more in detail. Or just like she was saying that I need the colonoscopy. And the Well Star has one now. I'd like to hear a little bit more about the place that the Well Star has and the things in detail. Just a little bit more detail, explaining some of the outside sources.
