Dr. Miragaya listened and made me feel comfortable and looked through my test results and showed me one of my X-rays I was concerned about! She was wonderful! I'm hoping my new cardiologist, oncologist, and ent are even half as wonderful! I haven't been very impressed with Wellstar Doctors but I am definitely impressed and at ease with her!

I am required to pay an estimate when I check in or I'm not allowed to see the doctor. I did this at my past visit and my insurance also paid my fee so I had $218 overpayment. I called billing and did not receive an answer about how to handle the overpayment, I think I made three phone calls with no resolution and then after three months approximately, the $218 overpayment was applied to a surgery cost. I asked today if I could skip making the prepayment since my insurance would make a payment and was told I could not Made the payment so I made the payment. It doesn't seem right that WellStar should keep my money for three months. I would prefer to make a copayment or be billed so I'm not double charged.
