I arrived at 8:19 am for my 8:30 am appointment. I did not see the doctor until almost 9:30 am. It seems ridiculous that I'm expected to be on time/early for my appointments, but I'm expected to wait for whenever the doctor gets around to me. What's the purpose of an appointment time? It might as well be first come/first serve.

I was satisfied with the services I received being my first visit with her. She listened, examined, explained & gave me the necessary referrals, & refilled my medications. She was also professional with human touch. I was really impressed & will recommend her to anyone.

Dr Shin focuses on giving more meds rather than addressing my health issues and HOW to improve my health issues. This last visit, I expressed that I have ear aches in my right ear. After examination, she suggested that it could be TMJ and suggested muscle relaxers. WHY!!!!! I am going to the ENT and I ordered a mouth guard because I do grind my teeth in my sleep. She also wanted to increase the dosage of my current meds for my blood pressure and cholesterol AFTER I had already expressed that the past few months have been very stressful as my father is in hospice and I know I had not been eating healthy or exercising the past few months and was going to make lifestyle changes. I refused the increase and be allowed time to modify my habits.
