I have been going to Wellstar Neurology in North Fulton for close to a year, and the staff and Dr. Shen are the best! Dr. Shen and his attending nurse always make me feel comfortable with the procedure, and I have had positive results.

This doctor, Dr Shen, was patient and able to understand what the symptoms were I had been experiencing and provide further treatment which has proven beneficial for the Parkinson's and I have improved somewhat since increasing the medication dosage.

This does not have anything to do with my visit. But, it's ongoing problem with the practice. I can send a message to my provider and I never hear back. I have waited over a week and I just give up and delete the message. No one seems to check the messages and calling rarely leads you to a real person. That's the biggest issue I have with this practice. No one is available outside of an specific appointment time.

While Dr Shen and team are top notch, the draconian reminder system with multiple reminders AFTER I'd already checked in, which included a demand for a verbal call back to confirm along with a threat to lose your appointment if not there 15 minutes early is really just a bit more than necessary. Definitely poorly reflects on the team in place, whoever has implemented this policy.
