Dr. Koehn is an assistant professor of pediatric otolaryngology at Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Koehn earned her undergraduate degree at Creighton University and her medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She completed her residency in otolaryngology-head and neck surgery at the University of Virginia, followed by a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Vanderbilt University. She also completed a master’s in healthcare management from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. Her clinical interests include all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology, with a focus on craniofacial care including cleft lip and palate, as well as airway, speech and swallowing disorders as a member of the craniofacial team at Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia. She also serves as the otolaryngology medical student clerkship director.

Overall, I think the service was great and Mandy explained things very well to my daughter, but we were waiting for over an hour to be seen. We were the first people to check in. We were in a room for 45 minutes before I went outside and said, hey, is anybody going to see us? So I think that could be improved on, but the service itself was excellent.

Came in, guy told us the wrong floor to go to, found the right place, went back quickly which I was thankful for, did not have the correct appointment scheduled- told we needed specialist; that's what we were supposed to have? , Dr walked us out to a desk and told us to have a good day and handed me a paper , confused since it was our first visit we asked where to go and was pointed out, only to realize when we got to the car that the paper was for the staff to schedule our appointment, called to schedule got a voicemail. It's 24 hours later and no call back so far.

I appreciate the doctors and the nurses for the care that they gave Aiden. They were very thorough, explained everything very well. I don't think the girls at the front desk is very knowledgeable about what happens once they walk out of with the doctor where they need to be going. If they could get a little more information probably on how to direct a patient that has been seen by the doctor would be very helpful. but your staff was very much appreciated. And thank you very much. That was the first time I've been there.

While the doctor in practice was excellent, the billing department was not. They billed for some separately as a hospital for some procedures that were done in the office that should have been billed with the co-pay. So that is disappointing in the fact that that's never happened until WellSTAR took over. So it's WellSTAR that I'm not satisfied with. The doctor and the practice I'm very satisfied with. But WellSTAR hospital, not satisfied with.
