Hartmut Gross, MD

As co-founder of REACH, a nationally recognized stroke telemedicine service founded at Augusta University, Dr. Gross is heavily involved in providing acute stroke care via telemedicine. REACH allows stroke specialists to diagnose and treat stroke patients at member hospitals from anywhere at any time, making neurological consults more available to patients in rural areas. Dr. Gross is credentialed in 18 hospitals throughout Georgia to provide telemedicine consults for acute stroke management and was appointed to the executive board of the emergency telemedicine section of American College of Emergency Physicians. He is co-editor and co-author of Global Medical Missions, Preparation, Procedure, Practice.
