Ghada Elshimy, MD

Dr. Elshimy completed her medical school and dermatology, venereology and andrology residency (as well as her master’s degree) at Ain Shams University in Egypt. She moved to the U.S. afterward and completed her internal medicine residency training at New York Medical College, then pursued her clinical and research fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the University of Arizona. She was the chief fellow during her last year of fellowship training and was the fellow representative board member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists Arizona chapter. She is currently a clinical assistant professor of medicine at Medical College of Georgia. Dr. Elshimy has been involved in multiple academic, scientific and educational activities, and has published papers in peer-reviewed journals.
