About Eric Plotnick, MD
Dr. Plotnick’s areas of interest are ear disease and hearing loss, recurrent acute and chronic sinusitis, environmental allergies, swallowing and voice disorders, pediatric ear, nose and throat problems, adult and pediatric sleep apnea, and masses of the neck, salivary and thyroid glands. He is also sub-certified in sleep medicine by the American Board of Otolaryngology.
He received his residency training in general surgery and otolaryngology at the Eastern Virginia Graduate School of Medicine in Norfolk, VA. He is a graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC, and also earned a masters degree in physiology and biophysics from Georgetown. He did his undergraduate education at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
Dr. Plotnick is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American College of Surgeons.
In his free time, Dr. Plotnick enjoys reading, hiking, biking, kayaking, rollerblading and traveling. He has two adult children living in the Atlanta metro area, two in Nashville and a teenager at home.

Glenda the nurse was extra nice. Doctor plonick took his time going over x-rays. Was kind to ask me did I understand and if I had questions. Thumbs up to Doctor plotnick are a 20 with his bedside manners. The young at check out can't remember her name was awesome as well.

I think the overall it was a good experience, but the wait time before I saw the physician was not acceptable and hopefully there will be some improvement on patient on the wait time before you get to the appointment. Thank you.

Dr. Plotnick was very polite and listened to my story about how my sickness began, and I felt a little better when I left. I still don't know what is going to happen to me with my sinus infection that may partially be due to those horrible dangerous root canals. I will never get another because I caught about 13 potentially pathogenic bacteria because it. Root canals cause infection and cavitation into the sinuses that can cause your nose to smell. My oral surgeon closed up the cavitation ( hole ) in gums leading to the sinuses. Dr. Plotnick is going to do a CT to see if any infection or other problems are there. I did get antibiotics, and he is evaluating me to see if there is anything left to be done. I think he is doing what he can.

The entire scheduling process and referral to this site was ridiculous and a complete waste of my $$ which they billed for and time. First thing the doctor said was that he would refer me to another because he's too far away from where I live to monitor my Cpap which is what I was telling scheduling and staff prior to making the appointment.
